And in even better news (for Americans at least,) the Argentine peso is down. Supervielle is now buying your US dollar for 3.175 pesos each! When I got here, I was lucky to find a bank posting for 3.145. Now, a 3 centavo difference isn't much I suppose, but it sure feels like a lot, especially when the U.S. economy isn't doing so hot. And when you're exchanging hundies, that's three whole pesos, which is exactly the cost of one taco at California Burrito Company's Taco Tuesday, which is tonight.
Since I've been skipping coffee in the mornings I spend a lot of time catching up on the news. Just give it up, okay, Hillary? Please?
Also, Shakira is playing a free concert in Buenos Aires this weekend. That should be fun.
